Beltane been and gone Click on Gallery at Beltane.org to see the photos we took. Photopoint is born The name given to my group by the society was Photopoint.  There are a number of "points" around the hill at Beltane, the most obvious being the four elemental Points (Air, Earth, Water, and Fire).  The name was thus an in-joke, in that we are spread all over the place and certainly not all in one place at one time. However; we did create a "Photopoint" of sorts.  On the right flank of the Acropolis, we had a super-tele lens mounted on a tripod (400mm F2.8).  There we had our food and supplies, and that is where we fell back to at the end o

Imbolc has been and gone... I had seven photogs shooting at the event. See photos here. Beltane Open Meeting was hectic... I now have twelve photogs, which is a perfectly fine team. Two months now, to prepare for Beltane. Dedicated online gallery is on its way... Beltanes-Past Exhibiton is on it's way... We have an exhibition space, in an arty cafe, from April 20th onwards, until May.  I am trying to get a meeting arranged between the archivist, myself, and the cultural calendar organisers.
